Hello, and welcome! This site is a resource for anyone interested in learning about the adventures of Shiprock and Anchordog: two kind dogs who travel together across enchanted landscapes and make many dear friends as they go.

JAN 2024 UPDATE — Our 14th Annual Shiprock and Anchordog musical theatre workshop is (tentatively) scheduled for August 5th to the 18th, 2024 at Hilltown Charter School! It’s a new adventure for Shiprock & Anchordog and friends: HONEY I SHRUNK THE DOGS…

We have many collaborators in this project. With the Shiprock & Anchordog live band we transmit the loving energy of the dogs. My visual art friends and I work on creating comics and publishing them, documenting the friendly actions of the dogs. Seana and I run theatre workshops, and students sign up to perform every year, manifesting the adventurous spirit of the dogs.

"My daughter has been obsessed with the Shiprock & Anchordog album since we got it. We've been listening to certain tracks on repeat for literally hours at a time. She has changed her name to Carifor now." - J. T. , Western MA parent

"Shiprock & Anchordog isn't flashy or loud; it's gentle and sweet and engaging. It's testament to the fact that kids absolutely can appreciate subtle storytelling when it comes from a place of authenticity. It'll be fun to see what they do next." - Bill Childs, of Spare the Rock, Spoil the Child
